    • Evernote announced last year that they would be moving to the cloud using Google Cloud Platform, in this series of articles Evernote’s engineering team outlines what they did to accomplish the move.
  3. Energy (article): Solar Employs More People In U.S. Electricity Generation Than Oil, Coal And Gas Combined
    • Certain people think that clean energy is not creating jobs or is not profitable. Solar alone now creates more jobs than dirty energy like Oil, Coal, or Gas. Let’s keep this up and push for more clean energy.

    1. California is finally getting water! 8.7 BILLION gallons to be exact. This is great but is causing issues with some dams in norther California.
  6. Work (video): Science Finally Says We Should Never Work 40 Hours A Week
    • I love being productive and I’ve been reading for years that 40 hours of work a week is not productive and has negative effects on your health and mental capabilities and in reality people are more productive in bursts of about 20-45 minutes. Science finally is agreeing that 40 hours of work a week is actually hurting productivity.
  7. Google Maps (video): Save and share your favorite places with Lists in Google Maps
    • Google Maps is one of my favorite and most used apps and now I can share some of my saved lists with my wife or family.
