1. Development (article): Docker v1.13.0
   • New Docker-compose version, healthcheck configuration, managed API updates, ability to specify an image to use as cache. I’m pretty excited about these updates so be sure to check out all that is new with the latest version of Docker.
2. Business (audio): StartUp – Gimlet Media
   • A great new podcast walking you through how Gimlet media created a name, got funding, and become a business. I don’t remember where I heard about this podcast, I believe from the Tim Ferriss show, and I am thankful that I did. The episodes are easily digestible on my trips to and from work.
3. Kids (video): Power Rangers Official Trailer #2 (2017)
   • It’s looking good!
4. Development (article): The Three Virtues of a GREAT Programmer
   • I often refer to myself as a lazy developer and no it’s not because I don’t work, but the contrary. I work hard to automate as many things that I can so that I can focus on the meat of the problem.

5. Hardware (video): Recording 101: Microphones
   • Learn the differences about microphones to choose the best one for the job. I’ve always had in the back of my mind to start a video podcast and the biggest thing I have learned in my research is that your video can suck and people will still watch you, but if your audio sucks they (I included) will leave quickly.
6. Machine Learning (article): Deep Learning Enables You to Hide Screen when Your Boss is Approaching
   • I’d be both impressed and a bit pissed off if I saw one of my employees doing this. It is great however to see more machine learning coming into our day to day life.
7. History (video): In Ancient Egypt, Even Boats Had Their Own Tombs | National Geographic
   • Since I am an Egyptian history nerd it’s always great to read about new findings in the desert.
